Volunteer - ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT

Role: ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT
Dept: As required
Where: UCF Offices – 40-44 Eglantine Ave, Belfast
When: As organised with Volunteer Co-Ordinator
Commitment: As arranged with Volunteer Co-Ordinator
Duration: Variable depending on the role

Purpose of role:

To support UCF staff in providing the best possible service, to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of their roles

Responsibilities and Duties:

Providing administrative support either from home or in the UCF offices. Duties vary with each role and can include a variety of activities – photocopying, printing, stuffing envelopes, updating computer database, putting training packs together, developing leaflets etc.

Skills/ Qualifications needed:

Volunteers need basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Computer skills will only be needed if the role requires it.

Training Provided:

Volunteers will be given any training or information needed to successfully complete any task and there will be ongoing support from designated staff and the Volunteer Co-Ordinator.

Reports to:

Volunteer Co-Ordinator/ Senior Cancer Prevention Officer
