Many of our supporters choose to donate directly from their salary. This is known as payroll giving and the benefits are that it is both easy to set up and all staff can participate.
It is also the most tax efficient way to support us because the gift is deducted from salary before tax. For example, a gift of £10 per month costs you only £7.80.
The government is currently offering an incentive of £300-£500 for companies with less than 500 employees to set up a payroll giving scheme. They will also match the first six months of employees’ donations – so there has never been a better time to set-up a payroll giving scheme within your company.
It is very easy to administer and can be a real morale boost to your team.
