'Great North Fun - half marathon'

'Canoe Canada 6 Day canoe expedition'

Paddle your way through some of the world's most amazing scenery and 'live at one' with the wilderness. Starting in Algonquin Provincial Park, Ontario, this expedition will involve 6 days canoeing and wild camping in a spectacular setting.
There's no need for any previous canoeing experience as a training weekend is included in the package. Flights, accommodation and canoe hire are all included in your minimum sponsorship.

'Annalong Valley Challenge Trek'

Starting at Carrick Little car park, south east of the Mourne Mountains, this route will take you up and over Slieve Binnian, Cove Mountain, Slieve Beg, Slieve Commedagh, Slieve Donard and Rock Mountain before returning through the Annalong Valley to the car park.
It is a very demanding walk, which requires a good level of fitness and stamina, as the terrain can be very uneven at times and the gradient quite steep.
Registration is £10.00, minimum sponsorship is £40.00. All funds raised will be attributed to your fund!

'Paddle the Bann 2 day canoe expedition'

Paddle along the River Bann and out towards the Atlantic, this 2 day canoeing challenge will involve wild camping overnight on the banks of the river. You will be paddling for approx 5 hrs per day and you should expect an arduous but fulfilling journey under the supervision of fully qualified staff.
No previous canoeing experience necessary but generally the fitter you are the more you will enjoy the challenge.

'Ultimate Lake District Challenge'

This unique challenge requires physical and mental stamina. Leaving Belfast on Friday evening to travel to the Lake District, your first full day of activity on Saturday will involve trekking in some of the highest peaks in the UK. After a relaxing evening, Sunday will involve getting into a harness and helmet to walk along a Via Ferrata (road of iron) - a completely safe but totally exhilarating experience! You may also have time for a bit of shopping on sunday afternoon!

'THE TWILGHT SAGA - BREAKING DOWN Part 1'

'Think Pink this October - Breast Cancer Awareness Month '

Approximately 3 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in NI every day. The disease, as many of you will know, has a phenomenal and often life-altering impact on patients as well as their families and friends.
UCF provides a range of services, free of charge, to ease this time of stress and help to improve quality of life.

We are running a month long campaign to continue to raise awareness of breast cancer and its signs and symptoms, whilst raising much needed funds. Our services include:

throw a pink dinner party
hold a pink dress day at work
dye your hair pink and get sponsored
hold a pink quiz in your local pub, golf club, church hall or community centre
