Everest Expedition Postponed

When we launched the Personal Everest Project in February 2008 we were very excited about heading off to Tibet in May. Little did we know that events were about to unfold that would make this impossible.
Regrettably we were forced to postpone our summit attempt until 2009 as China closed all routes to Everest in advance of the Olympic Games in Beijing, effectively cancelling the annual summiting season of April and May 2008.
Whilst this is a huge disappointment for us we are determined to continue with our training regime and fundraising in preparation for heading to Everest in 2009.
