Kilimanjaro Challenge Trek

At 5,896m, Kilimanjaro is Africa's highest mountain and the highest free standing mountain in the world. Snow capped and shrouded by clouds, the local Chagga people called it Kilema Kyaro meaning 'that which cannot be conquered'. Today, it is the dream of every adventurer to conquer its summit and stand on the roof of Africa.

We will be using the less travelled Machame Route. Our path takes us from the base of this huge dormant volcano, over moorland and rocky trails to the glaciers at the summit. This route gives trekkers the most intoxicating views and as it is slightly longer, it allows greater time for acclimatisation, thus increasing the chances of summit success.

For this unique experience all we ask is that you raise a minimum of £4,150 which includes the following:

Cost: The total amount due for the trip is £4,150 - After an initial deposit of £250 ,you will need to raise a minimum of £3,900, of which £2,800 must be received by Ulster Cancer Foundation 10 weeks prior to departure
